No. 4 Baylor wins 106 to 65 over Oklahoma State

     The Baylor Bears(4) played Oklahoma State(NR) Saturday January 14, 2012 at Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas. Baylor pulled off a big win with the final score being 106 to 65. This game marked the first 17-game win streak in school history. Baylor played one of their best games Saturday against Oklahoma State and it showed with 15 three pointers and a season-high 25 assists. The Bears 106 points also were the most ever in a Big 12 game by the end of regulation. For this win to take place they needed senior forward Quincy Acy to step up and he did with 14 points and had his 59th career double-double. Other big players that stepped up were Pierre Jackson with 18 points, Perry Jones III had 20 points and freshman Quincy Miller had a career high 21 points in the big win over Oklahoma State. With wins by both the men’s and women’s basketball team, it makes Baylor the only Division I school in the nation with combined undefeated seasons (33-0).
     Baylor has to travel to Kansas tonight in the big monday night showdown where they meet up with No. 10 Kansas. It is said to be a good game between the No. 4 and No. 10 but the Bears should be able to pull of the tough win. Tip-off is at 8:35 p.m. and will be broadcasted on ESPN……GO BEARS!

  1. Sounds like the Bears might be alright after all. But this still have to keep playing like they have or their season could go down hill in a hurry. Once they beat one of the top five teams then they could actually be counted as a top five team in my books...

  2. The current Baylor Bear mascots are live bears that live in a habitat on campus. Their names are Judge Joy Reynolds (Joy) and Judge Sue Sloan (Lady). At Baylor the crowd says "Sic 'em Bears," not "Go bears!"
